Identity verification of Tictail accounts is an important—and required—step when it comes to the payment of funds. You will need to upload an ID and have it verified in order to receive payouts from your Tictail Payments account. Every country has its own laws and these are typically known as "Know Your Customer" (KYC) regulations, for this reason we need to collect details on the individual or business receiving funds and verify the information is accurate.
You can verify your identity by submitting a scan of a government-issued ID. We recommend that you use one of these documents for verification:
ID document with name, photo and date of birth. Both the front and back of the card in one upload.
Driver's license, both front and back of the card in one upload.
Passport: the full information page with the picture. It can't be cropped at the side or at the bottom (the MRZ or machine-readable zone must be readable).
Note! The document must be in colour, the image must have no glare or be anyway blurry and the file format should be JPEG or PNG. If the verification of your photo ID fails, you'll need to resubmit it.
How to submit your ID photo
- In your web dashboard, go to Payouts.
- In the Account Details section, click Update.
- Scroll down to the Identity Verification section and click Select Document to select a picture of a photo ID from your device.
- Click Submit.
We'll now attempt verification and until the process is completed, your payouts may be paused. We will reach out and ask for more information when needed.
Feel free to contact us through tictail.com/ask if you have any questions or issues when trying to upload your ID photo for verification.
How will we use the personal data collected?
