How to change the color of your sale price

With our new sale price feature, we have made some visual changes to the price. We want your customers' eyes to get caught by the sale you are offering. Therefore, all original prices are strike-through and the new price is in red in our standard themes.

However, if you have customized your theme and made it your own, the color of the new price might not change. Or maybe you just want to change the color? Either way, don't fret! This guide will help you change the color in no time.

1. Start by opening your theme editor under Settings > Store design in your dashboard.

2. To edit the HTML or CSS, click the </> icon.

3. Scroll down to the CSS and paste the below code snippet anywhere within the CSS section. The CSS is all the code between the <style> and </style> tags.

.sale_price {
color: #E96161 !important;
}

"E96161" is the hex code for a version of the color red. You can of course choose any color you want. You can find the hex code for your wanted color here!

4. Preview and save - and it will look like this!
