This guide will show you how to connect your Klarna account once you have verified it with a Klarna team member. Don't have a Klarna account yet? Here's how to get a discounted Klarna account.
Klarna is currently available to shop owners in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. To enable Klarna, your Tictail shop must be listed as residing in one these countries located your shop's Location & Legal Settings.
Now it's time to connect your Klarna account:
1. Add the Klarna App from the Tictail App Store. If you already have the app, click the Apps symbol and then Klarna to access the app settings.
2. You should have already received an e-mail from Klarna with your account details—keep your account details available and select I have received my account details.
3. In Klarna's activation e-mail, you will have received your unique Klarna EID and a Shared Secret value. Enter these values in their corresponding fields. Also be sure to toggle the Verified by Klarna switch to Yes.
4. Tick the box for Charge invoice fee if you wish to charge your shoppers a fee for being billed by invoice. Enter the amount you wish to charge your shoppers in the input field and click Save.
5. Ka-ching, you're done!
Please note: Before your shoppers can make a purchase in your shop using Klarna, your account settings need to be verified by the Klarna team. If you have not yet received a phone call from Klarna, you should contact them to make sure your activation has been fully verified.
