Tictail is excited to announce Tictail discounts, a program that drives additional traffic and sales to your marketplace shop through targeted incentive offers.
All brands using Tictail Payments are eligible for Tictail discounts. Certain countries and currencies are not yet supported by Tictail Payments—find a full list here.
How do shoppers use a Tictail discount?
Shoppers will use Tictail discount codes the same way they use any other discount code. They will apply the code in checkout, and will only be able to use one code per order.
To use a Tictail discount code, shoppers must check out using Tictail Payments as their payment method. Payment methods available through Tictail Payments include debit and credit cards, SOFORT, iDeal, and Apple Pay.
How can I tell if a Tictail discount was used?
When a shopper uses a Tictail discount, it will appear in the order receipt emailed to you, as well as on the order details page.

Do I have to cover the cost of a Tictail discount?
Tictail covers the full cost of a Tictail discount, so you’ll receive the same payout as a full-priced order–it won’t cost you a thing to support Tictail discounts on your shop.
Our existing marketplace commission and transaction fees will be applied to the order total. Transaction fees vary by location (learn more here). You can find all fees associated with an order on each individual order details page.
How will I be reimbursed?
When a shopper has placed an order using a Tictail discount, two transactions will appear in your Payouts tab.
The first indicates the transfer of the shopper’s payment to your Tictail Payments account. The second indicates reimbursement from Tictail for the added discount—this transaction will occur the same day the order is placed.
How do refunds work?
When a refund has been requested for an order placed using a Tictail discount, you will be able to reimburse the total amount paid by the shopper. The amount covered by the Tictail discount will be refunded proportionally to Tictail.
